1. Who we are

2. The service

Pack the Stand is a football trivia game. Each matchday has seven questions with 25 seconds each. Correct answers score between 10 and 100 points depending on how rare the answer is (see How scoring works). There are no cash prizes, no stakes and nothing in the game can be exchanged for money.

3. Who can use it

  • Accounts are for people aged 18 or over. By creating an account you confirm you are 18 or over.
  • You can play the daily matchday without an account, but your results will not appear on the league table.
  • One account per person. Accounts are personal and can't be sold or transferred.

4. Free and paid features

  • The daily matchday is free.
  • Pack the Stand Premium is an optional subscription. See the Subscription terms.
  • Cosmetic items (stadium themes, badges) are optional one-off purchases. See the Digital purchase terms.
  • We never sell hints, extra time, extra attempts or points.

5. Fair play

  • Use your own football knowledge during ranked matchdays. Don't use bots, scripts, multiple accounts or anything that interferes with the game.
  • We may hide results, remove you from the league table or suspend an account that breaks these rules or the Acceptable use policy. We'll tell you why where we reasonably can, and you can reply to [SUPPORT EMAIL].

6. Answers, scoring and disputes

Answer lists are compiled by hand from public records, and tiers are set by our editors as described in How scoring works. If you think a correct answer was rejected you can dispute it after the round. If we accept the dispute, everyone who gave that answer is re-scored. Our decision on a dispute is final for the purposes of the game; it does not affect your statutory rights.

7. Your content

Your display name is shown publicly on the league table. It must not be offensive, impersonate anyone or infringe anyone's rights. We may change or remove a name that breaks these rules.

8. Our content

The game, its design, text, question lists and software belong to us or our licensors. See the Intellectual property notice. Club, competition and player names are used only as factual answers; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by any club, league, federation or player.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Pack the Stand available but can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted. We may change or withdraw features. If a change materially reduces what you've paid for, we'll tell you in advance and you can cancel and receive a pro-rata refund for any unused paid period.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer (including under the Consumer Rights Act 2022). Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. [SOLICITOR TO REVIEW]

11. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. We may close an account for serious or repeated breaches of these terms, with notice where reasonable.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Irish law. If you live in another EU country you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of that country, and you can bring proceedings in your own courts. For complaints, see Contact and complaints.
